You've been (hopefully) enjoying the summer holidays, but as the end of the summer gets closer and you look ahead to your September and beyond, you know that you need to rethink your content approach. 


The August Content Field Trip is designed with that in mind. 


We still want to have the 'going to the cottage' feeling but need to start stepping into the 'let's book out my services and products' vibe.  This location was curated for this reason. Plus, as always, you won't feel alone in your business. 


I've created 2 options ticket options. The first is the usual content field trip ticket with 2 hours for a mini training, worksheets and planning, and networking. 


The second option includes the morning content field trip, lunch, and an afternoon of hot seats and deeper diving into business content planning. 


*an added bonus? The rental space at the Riverhouse for the boardroom has a fee (I can't trust the weather sometimes ;) BUT the proceeds go to the Ottawa River Keepers who work to preserve the ecological health of the Ottawa River and its tributaries. I felt like that was a win-win for all of us!

What to expect during the 2-hour Field Trip

Here's the rough outline for the morning: 9:20-9:30 Arrival (This may change somewhat!)

 9:30: Coffee, light snacks and networking 

 9:45: Introductions - a chance to introduce yourself and your business!

10:00 - 10:20: Training: Content Foundations to make it easier to create and plan content for your business

 10:20-10:45: Review content assets, work on worksheets, and plan a month of content. During this time, ask questions and get support from myself and other participants. 

 10:45-11:15: Continue working on your plan, but take time to walk around the field trip space to grab photos and BRoll. 

 11:15-11:30: Mix and Mingle and plan some collaborations!

Lunch Break (for those with an Extended Experience Field Trip ticket, you're lunch is covered (we'll order from the cafe!) and weather permitting enjoy eating on the patio. More photos!

Other field trippers, you can join us of course!

12:15 - 1:15 pm: Hot Seats for Extended Ticket Holders. You'll pick on major content issue you're stuck on and get guidance to get unstuck! Plus, more time to work on plans with guidance and reviews from me.

1:15 - 1:30 pm: Wrap up and action plans for next steps

    I like to know what's up before an event too. If your question isn't anwered here, please reach out and ask!
    • What's included in my ticket?
      Your ticket includes the 2-hour session where you'll be able to plan out your content with support from Rebecca and ask your questions, network with other business owners, create new images and videos you can use in content and coffee/light snacks.

      If you have an Extended Experience ticket you will also have lunch included and extra time for hot seats and specific support.
    • Where is the event? What do I need to know?
      It's at the NCC Riverhouse.
    • What do I need to bring?
      A notebook, your phone and a pen. There is wifi, but we are going to be writing down and talking through ideas. You'll be researching what to post and making a calendar based on that. Low tech! But if you are more comfortable with your laptop, of course you can bring it.

      After the workshop, you'll create what you need in Canva, or line up the images you are using/broll for reels right in your phone.
    • What if I have to cancel?
      Tickets are non-refundable but you can transfer it to another business owner who might benefit! You just have to arrange that on your end and let me know the attendee name.
    • Will there be more events?
      More events are coming and this could become a monthly event. Future locations are being planned. The next one is September 23.

      If you can't make this date, the best thing is to be on my newsletter to get notified of future events.
    • Is there parking?
      There is parking at lots nearby. Some may require walking. More details are on the NCC Riverhouse website.
